Coming soon in the very near future will be Hospitality and Tourism industry specific job postings from businesses within Tasmania. We are professionals from within the industry who have found it hard to find good staff to fill the numerous vacant positions we have seen during our time within management of restaurants, kitchens, bars, hotels and clubs. Here will be a community of likeminded people seeking employees or employment from within the Hospitality and Tourism industry.
Our aim is to provide a low cost alternative to employers seeking to advertise vacant positions as well as providing a simple, clean and uncluttered interface for job seekers to find positions that suit them. The current popular advertising methods in Tasmania are quite expensive and this cost can be to much for some of the smaller businesses within the state. The Hospitality and Tourism industry as a whole has a high staff turnover rate and with each of these job listings currently costing anywhere from $110 – $300 through the traditional advertising methods, this can be a major expense for employers.
We are not a job or employment agency. We do not have the massive overheads of staff expenditure, a big fancy office and all the rest of the things that go with employment agencies. What we are offering is a simple and cost effective alternative to advertise and find Hospitality jobs in Tasmania. It is as simple as that. Over time this site will grow as the traffic and exposure increases and we aim to make this a premier job listing site focussed entirely on the Tasmanian Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
